Background:
Dr. Linda Marc brings expertise in social determinants of health and the measurement of patient-reported outcomes for research in academia, non-profit settings (domestic/international), and the pharmaceutical industry (outcomes research).
Linda has held leadership positions and senior consultative roles in academic, non-profit and governmental organizations. She served as the National Implementation Director (2017-2021) of a $21.3 million HRSA-funded initiative, providing technical assistance to improve the health outcomes of HIV+ populations across 14 states. She is also the fomer Director of Education and Curriculum Development (2011-2017) at the Harvard Center for Public Health Preparedness, overseeing the development of online instructional modules for mid-career public health professionals. During this period she concurrently served as an HIV/AIDS Advisor to the Haitian Ministry of Health (2007-2013), an Advisor to the US Census Bureau (2007-2012), and Convenor of the Race & Hispanic Origin Research Working Group (2012-2015) for the Census Bureau.
From 2006-2017, Dr. Marc was a Lecturer in Public Health Practice at the Yale School of Public Health, and since 2017 currently holds an appointment as an Instructor of Biostatistics, in the Quantiative Methods Program at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.
